digifest is Canada's largest annual festival of design and digital culture. Presented by the Design Exchange, in partnership with The Ontario Science Centre and Harbourfront Centre, local and international artists and designers are invited to share the latest in cutting edge digital media products and innovations. This year it's about all things WILD! : WILDcode, WILDstates, WILDmedia and more. digifest's New Voices international call provides winners an opportunity to present their work as an integral part of the festival's program.

The Smile Project and Farklempt!

Neil and Iona, The Smile Project, are beautiful robotic sculptures that see and respond to people simulating human feelings through a combination of facial expression, sound and physical gesture. Farklempt! is a multiplayer videogame that challenges players to manage their emotions.
WildCurves: 3D Interactive Shape Generation

Use the Immersion Microscribe digitizer to draw in the air with the hand-held stylus. Your motions will be translated into curves, planar curves or points.
TouchMe

Contribute your personal image to the public space. By pressing your body or objects against this art piece you will leave your imprint for others to see. The premise for TouchMe is the enhancement of the relation between people and public spaces.
Hidden Connections: Patterns in Nature

Right or Left Unsaid

This interactive installation engages you in a collaborative activity designed to draw awareness to different relationships and states of being alone or within a group. By moving your hands over the surface of hexagonal table, you will invoke lines of words between hands, linking you together.
Artists listed above will be at hand to talk with visitors about their work during the exhibition.
