Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on climate change.

This simple act has captured the hearts and minds of people around the world: at 8:30 pm, March 27, millions of people in cities around the world, including Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tel Aviv will unite and switch off for Earth Hour. To sign up for Earth Hour go to www.earthhour.org

In the event of rain, festivities will be moved indoors.
