Bring out your hidden creative scientist! Followed by screening of OSC.TV, a fusion of science and comedy, including the "Periodic Table of Rock" and "The Muscle Hustle."

Watch Science Centre staff transform faces using cutting-edge aging software.
3 p.m.“Nebula Remix”
Performance/installation by David Porter and Campbell Foster Nebula Remix is an exploration in particle theory and feedback sonics.
4 p.m.Dedicated to the Revolutions: Songs and Demonstrations from the Past

See the future of art today, with a range of exhibitions, displays, performances and creations that showcase the talent of young artists from Toronto high schools, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. All exhibitions and performances work to blur traditional boundaries between art, science, design and technology.

 Image Matter @ !DEA Gallery

Exhibition by Dave Kemp and Kevin Robbie
A collaboration between a visual artist and a physicist specializing in nanostructured materials, the Image Matter exhibition depicts fascinating microscopic edge-on views of a variety of photographic media.

 The Whispering Tree

Installation by artists Lori Beckstead and Dave Rose. Inspired by the Uduk tribe beliefs, the Whispering Tree absorbs the sound around it, and then retransmits secrets told to it as a continuous soundscape.

 Anatomies

Exhibition by Gail Wight
Striking large scale photographs of disassembled toys call to mind human anatomy charts. Wight, a Stanford University professor, uses art to explore biology and the history of science and technology.

Thank you to all Fusion 2007 participants

Thank you very much to all Fusion participants for making this year's event a great success! Ontario Science Centre visitors have enjoyed interacting with an excellent selection of competing projects, as well as all of the non-competing demos and installations.

We are pleased to announce the results of the Fusion competition:

In category A, the FNS Civic Engagement project by Flemingdon Neighbourhood Youth came in first place, while Changing the World One Stick at a Time, by Octavia Coleman, came in second.

In category B, Robotics Search and Rescue by the Ryerson Team and Augmented Reality by Helen Papagiannis tied for first place, while Dedicated to the Revolutions by Small Wooden Shoe came in second. Lo-Fi Collaborative Agent Populations by Nell Tenhaaf's team, Passerine Sculpture Garden by Karen Abel, and Son of a Butcher by Laurie Petrou all tied for third place. Project Positive Youth Project by CATIE was recommended for Honorable Mention.
