How do children form impressions of other people? How do they decide who they would rather become friends with? The purpose of this study is to better understand children’s automatic (or implicit) and controlled (or explicit) attitudes towards individuals from various social groups and how these attitudes might ultimately impact children’s intergroup behaviour. Researchers from York University are looking for children aged 5-12 to participate in a study aimed at answering these questions.
Find them in the Mindworks exhibit on Level 6, weekends only, 10am-5pm. The study will run May 12th to June 24th.
We want to know how museum visitors, like you, play with video games at museums! Our findings will help game designers, like us, make the best games possible to make PLAYING VIDEO GAMES FOR LEARNING a better and more common experience at museums. Take part in live research by spending 15 minutes with our game on DNA in the Ontario Science Centre's Weston Family Innovation Centre. We are looking for participants ages 7-10, however, we welcome anyone to play!
Find us on level 6, in the Weston Family Innovation Centre on weekends only. The study will begin May 12th and end June 3rd.
