The Ontario Science Centre provided a comprehensive package of 50 exhibits, along with all aspects of technical service and staff training, as part of the development of Turkey's first science centre. This new museum joined the Children's Cultural Centre and Sports Centre at Altinpark as another milestone in the growth of Turkey's scientific, cultural and social awareness. In April 1993, the Feza Gürsey Science Centre began operations in Altinpark, a 640 000 sq m recreation park.
