The Challenger Learning Centre features two simulation areas:
Mission Control
Mission Control is the nerve centre of any space flight. It is here that the mission specialists must work together to ensure the success of their mission. Instrument readings and data must be monitored, analysed and relayed. Mission controllers observe the status of the mission and communicate with their teammates in space.

SS Phoenix Spacecraft
In the Spacecraft the crew of astronauts and mission specialists work to complete various hands-on experiments. On board is everything needed to survive in a hostile environment. The crew must work together with Mission Control to arrive safely at their destination and complete their mission. The science presented is in the context of realistic space exploration. Flight uniforms, computers, electronic devices, robotic arms-all ensure a complete immersion in the mission.
