Theme: Does Music Move You? The Science behind the Strings
Friday March 5, 2010
5 pm to 8 pm
Think globally; play locally at SCI FRI, the Ontario Science Centre’s FREE event for teens aged 14 – 19.
Got a student card? Flash it at the entrance any time after 2:00 to tour the Science Centre for free. At 5 pm, find your way to the Weston Family Innovation Centre on Level 6 for Sci Fri activities.
It’s the Science Centre like you’ve never experienced it before.
- Decorate your body with a new tattoo
- Think you've got rhythm? Test it out with a musical game
- Move your body to the music and learn a few new dance steps
- Lay down the tracks for your own new tune in the DJ-hosted workshop
PLUS, Got an opinion?
Here's your chance to share it.
Participate in Science Café – a discussion of current issues like nothing else you've ever tried - this is not a lecture!
The topic for the Science Cafe is: Does Music Matter?
DJs:
