TELUS believes that commitment to innovation is essential to Canada's success in the new century. The skills that lead to innovation need to be developed at an early age when encouraging natural curiosity keeps young people excited about and interested in technology and science. In recognition of its $10.1 million sponsorship, TELUS is recognized as an Agents of Change lead partner, the lead sponsor of the Science Centre's School Programs, and receive naming rights to the Exploration Plaza, Rainforest and Conference Room.
The Government of Ontario was the first to embrace the Ontario Science Centre's vision, committing an initial $15 million to our Agents of Change initiative through the Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal. The Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal manages the infrastructure and growth in Ontario for personal and economic well-being. It looks at how infrastructure can meet new demands and improve the quality of life.
