Learn about a variety of creatures in a 30-minute live, interactive animal presentation by our animal care staff. The species presented will change weekly and include reptiles, amphibians and insects.
Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays at 11:00 until Labour Day in the Special Exhibition Hall, Level 6.
Science Spells
Put the "spell" in "spellbinding science". You will engage in the language of science and will learn many new words.

Potions & Elixirs 101
Welcome to the spellbinding science of chemistry. Prepare to be astonished and delighted as curious concoctions bubble, burn, appear, disappear, and do other surprising things during this demonstration.
Twice daily until Labour Day, on the demonstration stage in Special Exhibition Hall, Level 6.
Science of Flight
Live, free-flight demonstrations which may include a bald eagle, golden eagle, harris hawk, barn owl, great horned owl, red-tailed hawk, peregrine falcon or American kestrel. Each of these birds is trained for free flight, and has a unique appearance and flight style.
Daily in the P&G Great Hall, Level 2 at 12:00, 1:30, & 3:00 to September 6.
Science of Flight: Part 2
Explore how flying objects use the properties of air to create drag, lift, weight and thrust. Test how the shape and angle of a wing influence lift. Create and modify paper airplanes to investigate the four forces of flight.
Daily in the Weston Family Innovation Centre, Level 6.
