Book your next birthday party at the Science Centre! This package includes an exclusive two-hour experience with hands-on science activities facilitated by enthusiastic party hosts, plus a pizza lunch. And the fun isn’t over when the party ends—you and your guests are invited to spend the rest of the day at the Science Centre.

Party Themes

Imagination Playground™: Ages 4–7

Experiment, play and create using the Imagination PlaygroundTM block system. Our party staff will lead and guide your group as you explore and build your very own engineering marvel!

Magic: Ages 5–8

Discover the chemistry and physics of magic tricks. Play with light and colour to create a rainbow, learn how to write secret messages with invisible ink and more!

Rigamajig: Ages 5–8

Create, explore and experiment with the Rigamajig large-scale building and engineering kit. Use your imagination to build a structure big enough for you and your friends to play in, and then get your creation moving with wheels, pulleys and more!

Space: Ages 5–8

Explore the solar system and the wonder of space travel. Become an astronaut trainee and investigate the laws of gravity by designing, building and testing a planetary lander.


Party Package

All birthday parties include:

A birthday party is offered as a complete package only. Program substitutions or customizations are not available. 

Dates and Times:

  • Birthday parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Attendee Numbers:

  • Up to 11 children and 11 adults (a minimum of one adult must attend the party)
  • Optional: add up to 9 extra children at $25/child
  • Optional: add up to 3 extra adults at $25/adult (and up to 9 additional adults for Imagination PlaygroundTM parties)

Price:

  • $550/party (HST included) Non-Members
  • $500/party (HST included) Ontario Science Centre Members*

We cannot accept additional coupons, membership benefits, discounts, passes or vouchers in place of payment for the party or extra children or adults attending the party.

*Members get a discount on birthdays and camps. To qualify for the member discount, the person booking must be the legal guardian of the child and a named cardholder on a current membership at the Planetary level or higher that includes children. Learn how to become a member.

Booking

Book online or by phone at the number below. All birthday parties should be booked at least two weeks in advance. Birthday party spaces are limited and will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Full payment is required at time of booking. We accept AMEX, Visa or MasterCard.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received 14 days or more before the birthday party date are fully refundable less a $70 administration fee. We cannot refund cancellations made fewer than 14 days before your party date.

If your child is sick on the day of the party, please contact us. We will work with you to reschedule the party at no additional cost. If there are no alternate party times available, we will grant a refund if you provide a written request and a doctor's note within one week of the missed party.
