- Owl Pellet Dissections:
Guess whoo’s coming to dinner? Find out what owls eat as we dissect the pellets that are coughed up through their beak. Understanding the diet of these birds of prey is critical for conservation efforts, revealing important information on migration patterns and the wellbeing of other species. Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. in August

Space is limited. First come, first served.

SunPrints: Here’s your chance to make a big impression! Place natural objects on special paper and watch images come to life when they’re exposed to UV light. This no-camera snapshot of nature deploys a simple chemical photographic process people have used for 175 years. Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. in August*

*Weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, an alternate activity will be substituted for SunPrints.
