The Maple Leaf Forever Tree. This sculpture, created by the Ontario Wood Carvers Association from part of the silver maple tree that inspired Alexander Muir’s 1867 song “Maple Leaf Forever,” features 35 hand-carved leaves, each depicting a historically‐significant person, place or event in Toronto’s history.
