Materials Research Society

Warrendale, Pennsylvania (2003)

To create the Strange Matter travelling exhibition, the Ontario Science Centre was hired by the Materials Research Society, a non-profit professional association dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary findings in the research and development of new materials of technological importance.

This exhibition explores the fascinating science behind the materials that affect our everyday lives and gives us a glimpse of where the future of materials research might take us.

The Strange Matter exhibition has been met with much success since beginning its tour in 2003. There are three versions of the exhibition ranging from 1,700 square feet to 5,500 square feet that the Ontario Science Centre continues to tour.
