Teacher and Family Days, IMAX® film screenings and other teacher events are planned regularly. Please sign up for our Teacher e-news to receive your invitations in your inbox.

There are three ways Ontario Teachers can preview the Science Centre for FREE:

  1. To prepare for your upcoming field trip, you can visit the exhibit halls beforehand by presenting a copy of your Canadian School Visit Confirmation Letter and a valid OCT card or equivalent Teacher ID at any ticketing desk
  2. You are invited to free Teacher Events and Previews. Receive your personal invitations by signing up for our Teachers’ e-news.
  3. You are also invited to attend our exclusive Teacher events to preview select IMAX films and exhibitions. Receive your personal invitations by signing up for our Teachers’ e-news.

Teacher Orientations: Discover the Science Centre

Join us for a dynamic medley of the Science Centre's fun and interactive curriculum-connected science and technology programs.

Our "Discover the Science Centre" orientations are offered free of charge to pre-booked groups of 100-400 Teachers or teacher candidates and highlight our programs for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. Energetic and experienced Educators will illustrate how the Science Centre's innovative programs not only complement your classroom teaching, but also apply amazing resources and technology that will elicit wonder and excitement in your students.

Teacher Orientations: Challenger Learning Centre - Space Mission

Teachers booking a Space Mission receive a free mission resource package and the opportunity to attend a free 3-hour Teacher Orientation in the Challenger Learning Centre at the Ontario Science Centre. The orientation is designed to help teachers prepare their students to get the maximum value educationally and experientially from their Space Mission and is highly recommended. The Mission Orientation will introduce teachers to pre-visit classroom activities from the resource package and will allow teachers to sample a Space Mission before their class visit.
