The Ontario Science Centre has developed these resources to support educators teaching Grade 9 Technology and the Skilled Trades. These materials include lesson plans, related videos, project ideas and other materials designed to support curriculum objectives and engaged classrooms.
We’ve created materials to help orient you to these lessons and projects. We encourage you to start your exploration here.
Students will have an opportunity to apply STEM thinking concepts in the classroom by reviewing the math skills they will use throughout the course. These include working with fractions and different systems of measure (metric and imperial systems).
