Book a Group Visit

We look forward to welcoming your group! Here’s what you need to know:

  • Groups of 20+ visitors: 20% off admission, plus one free ticket for every 20 paid. Maximum group booking size is 75. For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, groups must be divided into smaller sub-groups of no more than 10 people, each accompanied by at least one adult chaperone (18+).
  • Special needs groups: 20% off admission, plus one free ticket for a support person – no minimum group size required.
  • The Canada Strong Pass does not apply to camp or group visits. The discount applies to general admission tickets only and cannot be combined with any other discounts or offers.

Group visits can be booked on weekdays and weekends.

Group Visit FAQs

What is the ideal age for a group visit?
The Ontario Science Centre is for all ages. It includes experiences, exhibits and programming for children, youth and adults to enjoy.

What is the maximum group size allowed?
We can accommodate group bookings of up to 75 people. For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, groups must be divided into smaller sub-groups of no more than 10 people, each accompanied by at least one adult chaperone (18+).

To ensure the best possible experience, groups may be assigned specific time slots in designated exhibit areas during their visit.

Why is there timed entry?
Timed tickets help us manage capacity and create a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone. Please arrive on time to make the most of your visit.

How long should I plan my group visit for?
We recommend groups plan to visit for approximately two hours to fully explore the exhibits and participate in activities at a comfortable pace.

How many exhibits and experiences can we expect to enjoy at the Ontario Science Centre?
Visitors can look forward to a mix of interactive exhibits and experiences designed for all ages. Explore familiar favourites like KidSpark, where children learn through imaginative play, alongside new attractions such as Space Deck, an immersive journey through space featuring a planetarium and hands-on exploration. Other highlights include Innovation Station, offering creative, hands-on activities, and Curiosity Commons, an outdoor space with free science-based games and challenges.

Is bus parking available?
No, bus parking is not available onsite at Harbourfront Centre. Please visit Motor Coach and Bus Parking Information for Toronto for information on bus parking. 

Where is the Group Entrance?
If you have booked a group visit, please enter through the main Harbourfront Centre entrance via the bus drop-off loop.

Are there lockers?
Yes. Lockers are available at a cost of $4 or $6 (medium or large), to be paid by credit or debit, and available for all-day use. We kindly ask that you store backpacks and other large items in the lockers before entering the exhibit areas.

Can we bring food and drinks?
Please do not bring food or drinks into the exhibit areas. Groups may enjoy lunch in the Landing Pad subject to available seating. Outdoor public spaces may also be used when available.

How is payment facilitated?
Please check your confirmation email and bring payment for the full amount on the day of your visit. Accepted methods of payment include credit card, debit card, or cash.

What’s the cancellation and booking modification policy?
Once your booking is confirmed, you must notify us of any cancellations or changes by 4 p.m. on the Wednesday one week before your visit date.

Is the exhibition space wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the exhibition space, including washrooms, is wheelchair accessible.

What is the Canada Strong Pass discount policy for group visits?
Canada Strong Pass discounts are not applicable to group bookings. These discounts apply to general admission tickets only and do not extend to group visits.

Booking requests are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email. If we are unable to book on one of your requested dates, we will contact you. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to tickets. These tickets are not valid until payment is made on the day of your visit.
