Developed in collaboration with the Association for Computer Studies Educators (ACSE) and the Ontario Science Centre, this engaging webinar will delve into instructional approaches and course plans for Grade 10 ICD2O: Digital Technology and Innovations in the Changing World.
We’ll focus on universal design for learning, differentiated instruction, and collaborative strategies. From there, we’ll discuss examples of course and project plans to incorporate problem-solving, transferable skills, and computational thinking into your classroom, with a focus on student learning opportunities.
Throughout this webinar, we’ll provide guidance on course plan implementation and discuss emerging topics such as AI and digital innovation.
Melissa Tardibuono

Melissa Tardibuono (she/her) is a secondary school educator teaching computer studies and technology in the Greater Toronto Area. She holds a background in mathematics and computer science from the University of Waterloo, with an interest in cryptography and graph theory. Melissa is passionate about making computer science accessible, inclusive, and engaging for all learners. Her work focuses on developing students’ computational thinking through hands-on, real-world experiences, including programming in Java, robotics, and design-based projects.

Monique Dubytz (she/her) is an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching in secondary education, specializing in physics, mathematics, and computer science. She also serves as a pedagogical lead, supporting innovative teaching practices grounded in Deep Learning and the development of transferable skills. She is passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning environments where students develop creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. She is committed to fostering curiosity and preparing learners for a rapidly changing world.
