What to Expect
Expect lots of fun! Participants will enjoy animal meet-and-greets, an IMAX® film, snacks and a group dance party. This event will take place on Friday February 10, 2023, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Early arrival begins at 5:30 p.m.; please see below for more information.
Family Fun Night Location
Family Fun Night: Valentine’s Edition will take place at the Ontario Science Centre in dedicated rooms at the front of the building. Please note that there will be no access to exhibit halls during this event.
The event will take place on two levels, both of which are wheelchair and stroller accessible.
IMAX® Film
During Family Fun Night, Born to Be Wild will be screened at 6 p.m. Please arrive by 5:30 p.m. to check in and make your way to your seats. Seating will not be assigned for the film.
Please note that we do not allow food or drinks in the OMNIMAX® Theatre.
Upon Arrival
Upon arriving at the Science Centre, please enter the Lobby through the front entrance. A member of the Science Centre staff will scan your ticket and direct you.
Please note that parking is free for this event.
Coat Check
Coat racks will be provided for visitors to hang their belongings. These racks will not be supervised throughout the event. We are also unable to provide lockers for this event. As such, you may choose to carry your belongings with you throughout the event. Tables and chairs will be provided.
Safety Measures
The Ontario Science Centre operates Family Fun Night in accordance with public health guidelines. At this time, masks are not required in the Science Centre, but we support all visitors and participants who choose to wear a mask. Similarly, we encourage self-screening prior to the event.
Please note that masking mandates and other COVID-19-related measures may change as public health guidelines evolve. We will communicate any changes to Science Centre policy as they occur.

What if we arrive late?
If you arrive after the event start time, please see a member of staff in the Lobby for further instructions.
If you arrive late and your film time is 6 p.m., we will change your screening time to 7 p.m. so long as space allows. Please ask a staff member for assistance.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations received prior to Wednesday February 8, 2023, and all modifications are subject to a $15 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after Wednesday February 8, 2023.
