What to Expect

Due to required maintenance, the Ontario Science Centre is using two entrances. Here’s what you need to know:

  • The Science Centre looks a little different right now, but it’s the same great experience!
  • Parking: Our main lot off Don Mills Road is open. Here, you can park and access our free shuttle service from the front entrance to the rear entrance. Or, you can walk—get those steps in and enjoy some fresh air! The free shuttle service will also be provided from the south parking lot, which is open on busy days.
  • Tickets: Members do not need to book ahead. Visitors should buy general admission and IMAX film tickets in advance online. Visitors with discounts, or CityPASS holders, can get their tickets on site.
  • OMNIMAX® Theatre: Enter the theatre through the front entrance off Don Mills Road. Pro tip: Book your film at the beginning or end of your visit to avoid shuttling back and forth between the front and rear entrance. Less travel time means more time to explore inside!
  • Exhibitions: Yes, everything is open! KidSpark and all of our regular exhibit halls and special exhibitions, including Above & Beyond, are open for everyone to enjoy.
  • Camp: Coming to Camp? You can park in our rear lot for up to 15 minutes to drop off and pick up your Camper. Please see you the Summer Camp Information Package provided after your Camp registration.
  • Lockers: There are a limited number of lockers available on Level 2 by the front entrance and on Level 6 by the rear entrance. Lockers cost $1 for one-time use. Don't forget to bring a loonie!
  • We’re ready: There are lots of signs and extra Science Centre team members on site to point you in the right direction. We are always happy to help—just ask!
  • Health and Safety: We follow the Government of Ontario’s public health measures and advice. As of March 21, 2022, masks are no longer required to be worn by visitors in the Centre although they are strongly encouraged. Please respect each other’s masking choices.
