Frequently Asked Questions

Can I exit and re-enter the Ontario Science Centre Experience space to visit the mall?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer in/out privileges to our exhibitions. If you leave, you will not be allowed re-entry unless you purchase another ticket.

Are refunds or exchanges available for ticket purchases?
No, all ticket sales are final.

Why are there timed tickets?
By staggering entry times, we can manage the flow of visitors more effectively to ensure all of our visitors can enjoy the exhibitions comfortably.

What if I’m late to my timed entry?
If you're late for your timed entry, you will still be able to enter. However, we kindly ask that you stay within the time frame on your ticket to help us manage the flow of visitors and ensure everyone has a great experience!

Is there a gift shop?
Yes, there is a gift shop. Proceeds from all sales will support future Ontario Science Centre programming.

Can I bring food and drinks?
No, food and drinks are not permitted. Please enjoy snacks and meals before or after entering the exhibition space.

Is there a coat check?
No, there is no coat check available.

Are there lockers?
No, there are no lockers available.

Are strollers permitted?
Yes, strollers are permitted. CF Sherway Gardens also offers strollers for rent. Please contact Guest Services for more information.

Are there age or height restrictions for Adventure Zone in Survival: The Exhibition? 
There are no age restrictions, but there are height and weight requirements that visitors must meet to participate.  

The minimum height is 49 in. (124.5 cm), the minimum weight is 35 lb. (16 kg), and the maximum weight is 275 lb. (125 kg).

Do I need to wear safety equipment in Adventure Zone? 
Yes, helmets with hair nets and harnesses are provided and must be worn at all times with long hair pulled back. Closed-toed shoes and well-fitting clothing are also required, and any loose articles or clothing may need to be removed or tightened for safety reasons. 

Is Adventure Zone recommended for everyone? 
Adventure Zone welcomes all participants who meet the physical and safety requirements of the obstacle course. However, it is not recommended for visitors who are pregnant, experiencing heart conditions, abnormal blood pressure or other medical sensitivities including a sensitivity to strobe effects, or those who are recovering from leg, back or other injuries.
