About the Speakers:

Lee Ann Armstrong

Lee Ann Armstrong is the Leader of Experiential Learning for Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. She is also the current OCTE Vice President and has been involved with the organization for many years as the representative for experiential learning. Lee Ann has been involved in many writing projects for awareness in elementary tech as well as resources and initiatives for secondary technological education. Recently, her work has been supporting resources for the TAS1O and TAS2O curriculum.

Scott Hughes

Scott Hughes has 25 years of teaching experience and serves as a department head of Science and Technology. He has held the role of Subject Council Chair for Trades and Technology with the OCDSB and has worked with OCTE for multiple projects. He has recently been involved with the development of resources for the TAS1O and TAS2O courses.

Nigel Carlisle

Nigel Carlisle is a secondary school teacher and the department lead for tech education within his school in the UCDSB. He is currently the co-lead for secondary tech education with OCTE. He has been involved with the development of resources and curriculum for the TAS course and currently runs multiple TAS1O sections in the rotational model within his department.
