You do the building, Teddy does the testing in this hands-on workshop

Take your favourite stuffie on the adventure of a lifetime! This exciting new program is designed for children ages 5 to 9 and their caregivers—and, of course, their Teddy bears.

Bring your bear named Teddy or your narwhal named Ned with you to the Science Centre for this program. Your stuffed animal will help you participate in hands-on science demonstrations and activities. Plus, enjoy a special science show together!

Build and test a Teddy-sized zipline, chair and sled for your favourite fuzzy friend to try out, and then construct a house where they can rest. Before you go, give your stuffie a check-up at our Teddy Bear Clinic.

The cost of this hands-on workshop is $40 per child or $35 per child for Members (Planetary, Stellar, Galactic or Cosmic levels only). All participants must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

General admission to the Science Centre is NOT included in the program fee.

Cancellations prior to Thursday, November 30 at 4:00 p.m. and all modifications are subject to a $10.00 fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after Thursday, November 30, 2023.
